MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A convoy of about 50 tow trucks departed Bobby & Steve’s Auto World on Washington Avenue on the edge of downtown Minneapolis on Friday for a procession to honor the life and legacy of Steve Williams, the son of the co-founder Bobby Williams. WATCH VIDEO
Bobby & Steve’s announced the passing of Steve Williams this week following an 11-year battle with cancer. He was 58.
“Steve had an enormous impact on our company and each of our team members,” the company wrote on Facebook. “Steve had the largest heart possible and truly cared for every member of the Bobby & Steve’s family as well as our beloved customers. He will be greatly missed by all, but his influence will continue.”
The tow truck procession left the Washington avenue store just after 9:45 a.m. Friday, moving down Interstate 35W and Interstate 494 en route to the service at Westwood Community Church.
