A blizzard of information! The winter season here in the Upper Midwest is a beautiful but dangerous season. We all know just how quickly the weather can change. This week it looks like the last thing we will need is a shovel. However, that is not always the case as we have seen metro flakes as early as September, and our biggest storm at the end of October.
This entire week look for blogs on how to brush up on your winter weather lingo and how to be more prepared for what Mother Nature throws our way. From advisories, to watches to warnings, there is a lot to be familiar with before the flakes start to fly.
Take a trip through the slide show above to see a series of graphics that we will familiarize you with weather terms, winter averages, and a few totals from last year. Also, click on the link below for a refresher on the terms that you will be hearing as we face winter season 2015-2016.
