2 college students found safe after missing in Savage, Minn.

- UPDATE 7:25 p.m. 10/14:  Both students were found safe. After news reports, the two called home.

"We have just received word that after the news story came out they have resurfaced," Bethany Global University spokesperson Chelsey Hoffmeister said. "Jen was able to make contact with her mother, Darlene, and both students are reportedly on their way back to campus."

No other information has been provided regarding their exact whereabouts and situation.

The BCA and Bloomington Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating Matthew LePage, 22, and Jennifer Winfree, 21. Both attend school and reside at Bethany Global University in Bloomington, Minn.

The two were last seen at a friend's bonfire in Savage on Oct. 10 and left together around midnight. Police said there's been no communication from either since which is unusual, and authorities are concerned for their welfare.

They are believed to be traveling in a 2005 blue Toyota Highlander SUV with California license plate 5NEB195.

Matthew LePage is described as a white male, 5’11”, 200 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his left forearm and his abdomen and has a pierced left ear.

Jennifer Winfree is described as a white female, 5’03”, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Jennifer has tattoos on her left arm.
