The head coach of the Champlin Park High School girls soccer team has been charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct after allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old boy at his home in Ramsey, Minn. while his mother was gone.
According to the complaint, Rebecca Noonan, 31, is a family friend of the boy. Noonan got nude in the boy’s bed and engaged in sexual intercourse with him in August or September of 2014. Noonan told the boy to keep the encounter secret because she would go to jail for a lengthy period of time.
The boy told his siblings about the encounter but asked that they not share the information. The mother told police she recalled leaving Noonan alone with the boy at the family’s home. But it’s unclear who ended up telling police about the incident.
Noonan appeared in court Tuesday on charges of third-degree and fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct and was released on $50,000 bail.
