LAKEVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) - A Lakeville, Minnesota mother convicted of hiding her two daughters from her family is back in jail for allegedly violating her parole.
Sandra Grazzini-Rucki turned herself in to authorities at the Washington County Jail on Wednesday just hours after a warrant was issued for her arrest. Officials say she did not check in with her probation officer and did not report a change of address.
Grazzini-Rucki was convicted of taking her two daughters, Gianna, 17, and Samantha, 16, to a horse ranch near Alexandria to keep them from their father during a bitter divorce.
The girls disappeared in April 2013 and were found last November at the White Horse Ranch in Herman, Minn. Grazzini-Rucki was sentenced to a small amount of jail time and six years of probation.
Grazzini-Rucki is currently being held in the Dakota County Jail pending an investigation. She could face more time behind bars for the alleged violations.
