2 teens hospitalized after North Minneapolis shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police are investigating after two teens showed up at North Memorial hospital with gunshot wounds.
The city's Shotspotter was activated around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, reporting 16 gunshots in the area of Lowry Avenue North and Emerson Avenue North.
Minneapolis police say the victims were not cooperative at the hospital, and no arrests have been made. It is unknown if the victims knew the suspect.
There are many local businesses in the area, and police are studying security cameras to try and learn more about the incident.
The victims were 18 and 17 years old. According to police, one of the victim's IDs said he was from Minneapolis, the other from Bloomington.
They both have non life-threatening injuries.
