2 robbed at knifepoint at Univ. of Minn. bus stop

Two people were robbed at knifepoint at a bus stop on the University of Minnesota campus early Monday morning.

U of M Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Blegen Hall bus stop on Washington Avenue around 4:45 a.m. According to the U, a man approached the two victims with a knife and demanded their valuables. They complied and the suspect fled.

The two victims are neither students nor staff at the U. 

The suspect is described as in his 20s, 5’3” tall and bald. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and thick glasses.
