2 Minnesota teens damage over 60 mailboxes with baseball bat

Two teenagers are awaiting formal charges after damaging over 60 mailboxes with a baseball bat early Tuesday near Little Falls, Minn.

According to the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, police received a report of "someone smashing mailboxes" along Highway 27 east of Little Falls around 2:50 a.m. Deputies responded to the area and found several mailboxes that had been damaged.

The Little Falls Police Department assisted and located a vehicle on the side of the road with two 17-year-old males. Police said both occupants admitted to damaging the mailboxes with a baseball bat.

In total, officials said there were over 60 mailboxes damaged throughout the townships of Little Falls, Agram, Pierz and Buckman.
