MINNEAPOLIS - One person is dead and three others are injured after a possible drug-related shooting inside a house in Minneapolis Saturday morning.
Minneapolis police were called to a house on the 1200 block of 22nd Ave. N. around 4:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found three men with gunshot wounds. Two were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The third victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another victim was found two blocks away with similar gunshot wounds. Police said he was with the three other victims when they were all shot and he fled from the residence for safety.
Police said the home was the intended target of the shooting. They believe the incident may have been drug related.
The Minneapolis Police Department said in a statement they will be increasing police presence in the neighborhood to help prevent future acts of violent crime.
