1972-1974 - Attends the Lutheran Bible Institute in Seattle, Washington.
1974 - 1977 - Attends Waldorf College, Forest City, Iowa; Concordia College, Moorhead, MN; and Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, where he receives of BA in Music Education.
1977-1982 First Lutheran Church of White Bear Lake. Horner was the Hope Anew choir director and youth group leader.
1977- 1987 - Horner begins molesting a 15-year old boy. Abuse will continue through high school and college.
1979-1980 - Eric Forseth says Horner sexually molests him on two occasions.
1986 - Commissioned as an officer in US Air Force, served as an Air Force Chaplain for 28 years with two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
1987 - Graduated from Luther Seminary, with a Masters of Divinity.
1987-1992 - Horner is Associate Pastor and Choir Director at Cambridge Lutheran Church.
March 1992 - Horner is de-rostered from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA); the ELCA notifies Cambridge Lutheran and First Lutheran of White Bear Lake that Horner had admitted to a 15-year "inappropriate sexual relationship," beginning when the victim was a teen.
1995 - Horner is hired by Eastside Community Lutheran Church in St. Paul (an ELCA rostered church until 2014), as Associate Pastor and Music Director. Horner is currently identified as lead pastor and music director.
September 1999 - Horner is ordained by the United Church of Christ (UCC).
March 2000 - Horner installed as ecumenical pastor at Eastside Lutheran.
February 2001 - Dick Hodges resigns as senior pastor at Eastside Community Lutheran. Horner becomes lead pastor.
2005- Horner meets an adult male victim, age 33, while doing chemical assessments at the Ramsey County Jail.
May 2008 - Adult male victim takes concerns about Horner's advances to Pastor Cheryl Indehar who reports allegations to Bishop Peter Rogness (ELCA).
July 2008 - Bishop Rogness meets with the Eastside Church Council to inform them about Rev. Horner's admitted misconduct.
November 2008 - After a fitness review, the United Church of Christ (UCC) terminates Horner's "Ordained Ministerial Standing." A spokesperson says he misled UCC about his background and the circumstances of his removal from the ELCA.
January 2009 - The Eastside Church Council votes 4-3 to keep Rev. Horner. ELCA Bishop Rogness is not allowed to address the congregation. Rev. Indehar leaves Eastside.
Late 2008 - Horner joins the International Ministerial Fellowship (IMF).
December 2013 - Eric Forseth files a report with White Bear Lake Police.
April 17, 2014 - Horner gives a statement to White Bear Lake Police.
June 2014 - St. Paul Synod of the ELCA removes Eastside Community Lutheran from its roster of congregations for failing to terminate its relationship with Horner.
October 2014 - Ramsey County Attorney declines to file charges involving two victims because statute of limitations had expired.
January 2015 - Horner resigns from the International Ministerial Fellowship (IMF). A spokesperson for IMF would not disclose the circumstances of the resignation or whether they were aware of allegations of sexual misconduct.
