It was a busy day for Louise, she briefly addressed the media, visited her son's body at the funeral home, and took a tour of Barway's school where she met with his teachers.

"Thank you. All those that stood by me and my sympathy. Even though I was not here for my son, I was here. You do ask, well why? It is a will of God Thank you for the time and for your hard work. Thank you all."

10-year-old Barway was found murdered in the Mississippi River after a near-month long search. Barway's father, Pierre Collins, is in jail charged with murder.

Barway Collins' funeral is set for Saturday morning. His birth mother has asked everyone planning to attend to wear the color white to honor her late son.

Pastor Harding Smith announced at the press conference that all funds have been raised and the funeral home has received the money.
