- The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and charging of the suspect(s) responsible for vandalism at two Edina area parks.

On July 21 the scoreboard at Courtney Fields and three other signs a Braemar Park were vandalized with red and green spray paint. The suspect(s) wrote “Gorilla Troop” and “King Kunta Harambe.” Park officials say sometime between July 15 and July 26 vandals also tagged Fred Richards Park with the same text in red, green, blue and white spray paint.

Residents are encouraged to call 911 if they see or hear anything out of the ordinary. Anyone with information should call Edina Police at 952-826-1600.
