Minneapolis, Minn. (KMSP) - Tuesday night storms delayed the Twins game for nearly 3 hours. Fans quickly shared their thoughts on Twitter over the 9:52 p.m. start time. The game against the Oakland A’s was supposed to start at 7 p.m.

The Twins then announced fans can exchange their tickets for any remaining 2016 home game. The tickets can be exchanged at the Target Field Ticket Office on Target Plaza. If you had premium tickets though, you’ll have to settle for the general seating area. The Twins don’t refund weather-delayed game tickets.
Twins President Dave St. Peter released this statement,
“The Minnesota Twins are grateful for our fans patience with tonight’s weather delay,” “Understanding the lengthy delay and late-night first pitch, we feel it’s appropriate to invite all fans holding tickets for tonight’s game to come back for a future ballgame compliments of the Twins.”
The Twins won against the A’s 11-4. The game ended after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
