MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police are investigating the shooting death of a man found inside of a home on the 3500 block of Knox Avenue N. late Thursday night.
At 11:15 pm officers responded to a report of the sounds of muffled gunshots. Officers were flagged down by a person wanting police to check on someone inside one of the homes. Officers went into the house and found a man who appeared to have been shot.
Detectives spoke with people in the area and officers canvassed the neighborhood. Crime Lab personnel processed the scene and K9 officers looked for additional evidence. The Minneapolis Police Department is strongly encouraging residents to speak with officers as they spend time in the area with any information to this crime or other community concerns.
