The Stearns County Sheriff's Department is alerting the community that a red angus calf is running around town – and the owner is being asked to contact police.
Law enforcement received numerous calls Monday night about a calf running on Hwy. 71 near Hwy. 28 in Sauk Centre Township.
"Numerous attempts were made to contact possible owner but were unsuccessful," the Stearns County Sheriff's Department said.
The calf was last seen on the east side of Hwy. 71 just south of Hwy. 28. No photos are currently available because it is "still running loose out there," police said.
If you think the calf may belong to you, please contact the Stearns County Sheriff's Department at 320-251-4240.
