BURNSVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) - A man who fired shots at police officers in Dayton, Ohio was traced to a Burnsville, Minn. apartment where we has taken into custody.
The Dakota County sheriff’s office reported officers were dispatched to a disturbance involving a firearm on May 29. Shots were fired from a vehicle at the officer attempting to make a traffic stop, striking the squad. After a short pursuit, two people were apprehended but Thurman Reed, the shooter, got away.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force worked on leads that brought them to a Burnsville apartment where SWAT team members arrested him.
