$7,500 reward: Fire at historic church in Melrose, Minn. deemed arson

- Authorities have determined the fire at a historic church in Melrose, Minn. in March was intentionally set and are now offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
 
The fire was reported at approximately 4:43 p.m. on March 11 at the Church of St. Mary, which was built in 1898 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The fire caused approximately $5 million in damage to the church.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the state fire marshal are offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire.
