Wayne and Amber Walberg will be reunited with the remains of their infant son, Zach, after all.
An urn contained Zach's remains was in the Walberg's 2005 Chrysler Town and Country when the vehicle was repossessed last month. But after we brought you the couple's sad story last night, the dealership they bought the van from, Mathison Motors in Clearwater, reached out to them and offered to return all items that were inside free of charge.
"There was a lot of relief," Amber says. "It was really touching."
Mathison also extended the Walbergs a 10-day grace period to pay the roughly $7,000 van off in full and get it back.
The couple is currently living in a relative's spare room and looking for work, but if nothing else they say they are just relieved to be reunited with Zach's remains.
