ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - St. Paul police confirmed they have arrested a second suspect in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Bobby Collins at a barbeque in Indian Mounds Park on Sunday.
Police responded to a “chaotic scene” with as many as 300 people gathered near Earl Street and Mounds Boulevard at 7:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Collins with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was treated at Regions Hospital and released.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Police arrested 24-year-old Prince Kavanaugh of Minneapolis on Monday and confirmed the arrest of a second suspect on Tuesday. The identity of the second suspect has not yet been released.
