12 students, driver injured in northwestern Minnesota bus rollover

Twelve students and a bus driver were injured in a bus rollover on U.S. Highway 2 in northwestern Minnesota Monday morning. 

At 8:20 a.m., a school bus from Grand Rapids was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 2 near Lengby when the driver lost control. The bus entered the center median of the road and overturned. 

There were 22 students and a teacher on the bus. The driver and 12 students were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The Grand Rapids School District eventually picked up the non-injured students.  

The crash remains under investigation.
