The 10,000 people who will welcome Super Bowl visitors to the Land of 10,000 Lakes received their acceptance emails Thursday.

More than 30,000 people applied for Crew 52 and half of those applicants were interviewed at U.S. Bank Stadium last weekend. Volunteers who made the final cut received an email from former Minnesota Vikings player Chad Greenway on Thursday welcoming them to the roster.

Crew 52 volunteers will help the host committee welcome the more than one million expected guests to Minnesota, serving at gathering points such as airports, skyways, hotels and official events. They'll work at least three shifts during the 10 days leading up to Super Bowl LII, but they won't be needed inside the stadium on game day.

Next up for the volunteers -- an all-crew orientation on Sunday, Nov. 12 at Xcel Energy Center.
