1 killed in crash between semi, pickup near Eagle Bend, Minn.
EAGLE BEND, Minn. (KMSP) - One person is dead after a semi-truck and a pickup collided at an intersection in northwestern Minnesota Sunday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Dodge Dakota pickup truck was traveling eastbound on 380th Street and the semi was going north on Highway 71 near Eagle Bend in Todd County when they collided at the intersection. The semi then left the roadway and rolled.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Jeffrey Ahrendt, 58, of Eagle Bend, was was killed in the crash. The driver of the semi was not injured.
