How Minnesota kids can get free dental care

Volunteer dentists and dental professionals across Minnesota are providing free dental care for more than 6,000 children in need. The Minnesota Dental Association's Give Kids a Smile program includes two free days of dental care for children who would otherwise not be seen by a dentist.

Tooth decay is the most chronic childhood disease, affecting 50 percent of U.S. first graders. Since Give Kids a Smile began, Minnesota dentists have provided free care to more than 60,000 young children and donated services valued at more than $15 million.
