Recipes: Cocktails just in time for spring

Beverage Director at Red Cow & Red Rabbit restaurants Ian Lowther stops by Fox 9 to show some great drink recipes for spring.

San Jorge
1 teaspoon simple syrup
1/3oz lemon juice
1/3oz grapefruit juice
1/3oz Tattersall Grapefruit Crema
1/3oz St. George Pear Brandy
1 2/3oz Reposado Tequila

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a stemmed glass. Garnish with a grapefruit peel


The Beautiful Game
1/3oz honey syrup
2/3oz lemon juice
2/3oz Cappeletti Aperitivo
1 2/3oz Bourbon

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a stemmed glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

Spring Provides
2/3oz pomegranate grenadine (recipe below)
1/3oz oz lemon juice
1oz grapefruit juice
1/2oz Don Ciccio Hibiscus Liqueur
1 2/3oz vodka
2 1/2oz soda water

Shake all ingredients except for soda water just a couple times (like 5 or 6). Add soda water and strain into a collins glass filled with ice. Garnish with a grapefruit peel.

Pomegranate Grenadine
1 cup Pomegranate juice
2 cups sugar

Whisk ingredients together and heat on low. Heat until all sugar is dissolved. DO NOT BOIL.
