Hamline Church Dining Hall serving up State Fair meals for more than 100 years

M.A. Rosko checks out the ice cream and full meals served up at the Hamline Church Dining Hall

Hamline Church Dining Hall is one of the "golden oldies" of the State Fair, serving up hardy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner since 1897.

The dining hall is also serving up dessert, with a new Izzy's Ice Cream flavor created especially for the dining hall at the fair each year. The newest creation, butter queen coffee ice cream, is one of the most talked about new fair foods this year.

A portion of the money made at Hamline Church Dining Hall goes towards a different charity. This year, they'll use their proceeds to buy meals for the organization, Feed My Starving Children.
