Gilmore Girls fans flock to Luke's Diner pop-ups in St. Paul

For fans of the television show “Gilmore Girls" – today is your chance to be just like Rory and Lorelai and grab coffee and a donut at Luke’s Diner.

Coffee shops across the country transformed into Luke’s on Wednesday to help promote the upcoming Netflix reboot of the beloved show, “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” which premieres on Nov. 25.

Two local coffee shops in St. Paul, Minnesota – Dogwood Coffee and Swede Hollow Café – were among the 200 participating locations. Each cafe features decorations form the show, including Luke’s signs, aprons and Luke’s famous backwards baseball cap.

Wednesday marks the 16th anniversary of the premiere of Gilmore Girls.
