ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Expect a few familiar Minnesota faces on David Letterman's upcoming Netflix show.
After stepping down from the Late Show on CBS two years ago, Letterman has kept a low profile and grown a bushy beard. But now he seems to be back in action in the television world.
Friday, Fox 9 captured Letterman going into the Afro Deli in St. Paul. Senator Al Franken was later seen meeting up inside the restaruant with the famed talk show host.
Representative Ilhan Omar later tweeted out a picture posing with both Franken and Letterman, stating they had just shot a segment for his upcoming show.
In August, Netflix announced Letterman would be returning to their streaming service for a six-episode talk show series. The show is expected to premiere in 2018.
