Apple Valley, Minn. native, Duke guard and now NCAA champion Tyus Jones made a surprise delivery before the game. Kevin Garnett was scheduled to throw the first pitch to Torii Hunter -- a Minnesota homecoming honor if ever there was one -- and Jones showed up to deliver the ball to KG. Jones said it was the opportunity of a lifetime as a longtime fan.

"I played baseball when I was younger so cool to get a chance to meet two guys that you watched and admired growing up. It was unbelievable, you couldn't write it up any better than that, it was just something you'll never forget, it feels like a dream," Jones said.
