Its that time, when we "Spring Forward" and set our clock AHEAD an hour. Yes, you will lose an hour of sleep but you will be rewarded with some extra daylight in the evening. Daylight Saving Time will begin this Sunday, March 8, at 2 AM. Benjamin Franklin thought this would be a great way to make better use of the daylight and help conserve energy.If anything it should energize you more to get out in the evening after work and enjoy all of what Minnesota has to offer.
Also, just in case you're wondering. If you forget to set you clocks ahead and go out and about tomorrow, then you will be an hour late everywhere you go. This will also be a great time to change the batteries in your smoke and CO2 detectors.
