Pepperidge Farm bagels recalled over allergy risk

Pepperidge Farm has announced a voluntary recall of 7 bagel varieties in 23 states, including Minnesota and Wisconsin. The 46,000 packages of recalled bagels may contain peanuts or almonds that could pose an allergy risk.

The recall affects the following bagel varieties:

Cinnamon raisin bagels (UPC 14100074830)

Plain mini bagels (UPC 14100075622)

Everything bagels (UPC 14100077152)

Plain bagels (UPC 14100078081)

Brown sugar and cinnamon mini bagels (UPC 14100082354)

Whole wheat bagels (UPC 14100084938)

Cinnamon raisin mini bagels (UPC 14100092599)

The recalled bagels have sell by dates ranging from Feb. 7 to Feb. 12.

The recall was initiated after the bakery that made the bagels reported that peanuts and almonds had been included in an ingredient. Pepperidge Farm is removing all of the affected bagels from store shelves. No illnesses have been reported
