Man fatally shot in Minneapolis, no arrests yet

Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal Sunday morning shooting.

Just after 2:00 a.m., police responded to the 2100 block of 4th Street North on report of shots fired. While en route, officers were advised of a Shot Spotter activation in that area. Moments after arrival, officers found an adult man suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. They performed CPR and rendered aid until an ambulance brought him to North Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Officers and homicide investigators canvassed the area. No one is in custody at this time. The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim as well as the nature and cause of death.
