Kevin Garnett thanks Timberwolves fans by giving away 1,000 tickets

Kevin Garnett wasn't loving the referees at Target Center after he was ejected from Saturday night's 101-97 Timberwolves loss against Memphis, but he's definitely felt the love from Twin Cities hoops fans since his homecoming.

As a token of his appreciation, The Big Ticket has purchased and will give away 1,000 tickets to Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

In a statement released by the team, Garnett said, "The response and support I've received from Wolves fans since my return to Minnesota has been nothing short of amazing. It's been unbelievable."

"As a gesture of thanks, I would like to treat some fans to Monday night's game against the Clippers," he continues. "Love you all, and thanks for the love. Enjoy the game on me."

If you're interested in one of KG's tickets, head to tomorrow morning at 9. The first 500 fans to visit that site can claim a pair of tickets.

UPDATE: All 1,000 tickets were claimed by 10 a.m. Monday.
