Escaped Minnesota prison inmate captured in Wisconsin

Minimum-security inmate Patrick James Buswell, who walked away from the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Stillwater, Minn. on June 12, was found at a rural Wisconsin residence Tuesday and is back in custody.

The Minnesota Department of Corrections confirmed Buswell was apprehended at 2:40 a.m. in Chippewa County, where he is currently in custody. He was at a home in the Holcombe, Wis. area and is now expected to face criminal escape charges in Minnesota and potential narcotics charges in Wisconsin.

Before he walked away, the 40-year-old was serving a 60-month sentence for a weapons offense.
