Body found at Hidden Beach in south Minneapolis

Minneapolis Park Police investigated the discovery of an adult body near Hidden Beach in south Minneapolis on Monday night.

Police headed to the location on the south side of Cedar Lake around 5:30 p.m. and set up a perimeter. According to a Park Police spokesperson, a resident walking a dog near the beach reported the discovery. The body was not located right on the beach.

There is no foul play suspected. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office has not yet released an identity, and could not confirm how long the body had been there.
