Before 2 p.m., the teen in a GMC Sierra hit the store at 1705 Weir Drive just west of Interstate 494. Police said the teenager was just learning how to drive and likely mistook the gas for the brake.

"We heard a big boom inside, we thought the storm had come early I had ignored it," Raijah Johnson, who works a few doors down, said. "I was with a customer, and then a customer said, 'you know there's a truck in the store over there?'"

The driver and the parent passenger were not injured. In total, 5 people were evaluated for injuries, most of them minor, Woodbury police said. One adult and two children were transported to the hospital as a precaution, one of them an infant. Two store employees were also evaluated for injuries, but were not taken to the hospital.

A man who works in the same shopping center told Fox 9 this is the second time in one year that a car has somehow driven into the building.
