Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in St. Louis Park closed its doors on Thursday.

Their doors were locked, phones have gone unanswered, the location stripped from the list on the chain's website,, but it's unclear exactly why there won't be any more country frivolity at the West End. The bar and restaurant has been in business since 2009.

Toby Keith's was placed on the Minnesota Department of Revenue's tax delinquency list in May of this year for not paying their alcohol taxes, which bars them from receiving any more deliveries if they're 10 or more days overdue and don't pay up.

"In accordance with Minnesota Statues, Section 270C.725., the below taxpayers are 10 days or more delinquent in payment of their taxes and therefore no wholesaler, manufacturer or brewer may sell or deliver any product to them beginning the third business day (business days are Monday through Friday) after the date of this list," according to the state revenue department.

The owner, Phoenix-based Boomtown Entertainment, has not returned calls for comment but a group sales representative did confirm the venue is closed.
