20-year-old forced into Astro van by ex-boyfriend found safe

Minneapolis police have located a 20-year-old woman and her ex-boyfriend after he apparently forced her into an Astro van on Thursday afternoon.

At 3:18 pm, Minneapolis police responded to the 3300 block of Knox Avenue North where witnesses said Alexis Jade Nabors was seen being physically forced into a blue 1997 Chevrolet Astro van with Minnesota license plates 994-PNY by her ex-boyfriend, 20-year-old Wesley Nathaniel Little.

Just after 7:15 p.m., a Minneapolis patrol officer saw the Astro van driving through the Third Precinct and additional officers came to assist a traffic stop. Nabors was located in the vehicle unharmed and Little was taken into police custody.

Police believe Nabors possibly had a protective no-contact order on Little. He was convicted of domestic assault in July of 2014 and violated a domestic abuse no-contact order in September of that year, and again in February of 2015, though it's unclear if the violations are in connection with Nabors' no-contact order.
