Olmsted County - Motorcycle hits deer

A motorcyclist died after hitting a deer on Highway 52 near Rochester, Minn. at about 7 p.m. Friday. The Harley-Davidson rider was only identified as a 40-year-old man from Rochester.

Hubbard County – Teen dies in police chase

A teenage girl died when she lost control of her car during a police chase on Highway 200 in Hubbard County, causing it to roll several times. The high-speed chase and crash happened just before noon Friday. The driver was identified as 19-year-old Hailey Bergstrom of Sebeka, Minn.

37 million people traveling

This is expected to the busiest Memorial Day travel weekend in a decade. According to AAA, 37 million Americans are traveling 50 miles or more away from home, up from 35 million a year ago.
