Sunday forecast

Another warm and humid day Sunday, which will spark another round of showers and storms across the state. While rains will be ongoing for some in the morning, a break in the activity is expected midday before stronger storms get going in the afternoon and evening hours. Some of these could be strong with large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and isolated tornadoes. The severe weather threat will push east by sunset and then we are in for a chilly and windy start to our week with temperatures hovering in the 40s through much of Monday afternoon as winds gust upwards of 35 mph. A slow rebound will take place the rest of the week with quiet conditions expected heading into next weekend. - Meteorologist Cody Matz
