The mayor of Lakeville, Minn. is demanding that their city gets what it deserves, a Chipotle restaurant. Last week, Mayor Matt Little tweeted, "Want a Chipotle in Lakeville? Retweet this so @ChipotleTweets knows that the greatest city in Minnesota still needs a Chipotle!"
Sure enough, the city agreed and responded. His tweet has now been retweeted and favorited thousands of times.
A representative from Chipotle replied to the mayor and told him to write to them with information on any open spots available.
Little is one of the youngest mayors in the state, which is evident by his love for Chipotle – a popular food chain among millennials. The 27-year-old is currently finishing his third and final year of law school at the University of Minnesota.
Give the people of Lakeville their burritos, Chipotle!
