Ramsey County sheriff's officials confirmed a man's body was pulled from Twin Lake after his canoe had apparently overturned on Sunday morning in Little Canada, Minn.

The incident was reported at 11:46 a.m. at the 200 block of Twin Lake Trail, and the caller said a canoe with 3 men had overturned. One went under and did not resurface, police confirmed. A witness told Fox 9 the 3 men were all in their 20s, and not wearing life jackets. Neighbors added the men had been out on the lake on Saturday as well, their canoe sitting just inches above the waterline due from their combined weight.

The other two men made it safely to shore with the help of the mentioned witness and a neighbor, but the third man's body wasn't recovered for a few hours.

Sheriff's officials recovered a body at about 4 p.m., and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner has not yet released the identity. Police have not said if any of the men had been drinking. The case is still under investigation by the Ramsey County sheriff's office.
