This gorgeous weekend will go out with a bang! The sunny warmth will peak late Sunday when a cold front puts a temporary hold to the warm up. If there is one thing that we need it is rain. However, we could do without the fire fueling winds and strong storms. Unfortunately we will have to go through all that before getting back to the tranquil weather pattern.
Sunday will continue with strong southerly winds that will constantly blow in the 20 to 30 mph range.
That big wind will come from a warm direction, the south! Remember that big warm up to 84° back on April Fool's Day? Well, it will be hard to top that temperature but the thermometer will be boosted into the 70s.
When it all comes together, we will have our 3rd warmest day of the year, a shot at some stronger storms to our southwest and an elevated fire danger to start it all.
Enjoy the warm up as we won't have to dodge the storms until late afternoon. #stayskyaware!
