Minnesota girl, dad overcome farm accident together

A farm accident last November changed a Minnesota girl's life forever, and now thousands of people are standing behind her.

10-year-old Dana Standke was just another farm girl in Ellendale, Minnesota until one fall day last November when her world suddenly changed. Dana's arm became stuck in piece of farm equipment and her hand had to be amputated.

But don't be fooled -- this girl is tough.

Her dad went through a similar accident as a boy and has been there for her every step of the way. When the accident first happened, Dana's greatest fear was her dad would be mad, but little did she know he and the entire town were there to help.

"My son who was there pulled me over and said ‘Tell her that you love her and that you are not mad at her' because that was her biggest fear -- was that I was going to be mad at her," said Dana's father, Dan Enzenayer.

The town of Ellendale held a huge fundraiser Sunday for the family to help pay for medical bills. At last check, they had already raised more than $2,000.
