Nickelback concert in Minneapolis abruptly canceled due to family emergency

With just 12 hours notice, Nickelback canceled its Friday night concert at Target Center in Minneapolis due to a family emergency. The March 6 show has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 25.

Target Center event staff released the following statement Friday morning:

"Due to a family emergency, Nickelback will not be able to perform tonight, March 6th, at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. The band regrets having to postpone the show however, they are pleased to announce they are rescheduling their concert, at the Target Center, on Saturday, July 25th. Tickets for the originally scheduled show will be honored on the new date. Tickets for the July 25th show are on sale now at AXS.com."
