The Internet is divided over the color of a dress. Yes, the color of a dress. Apparently a Tumblr user, "swiked," uploaded the image, and said:
"guys please help me - is this dress white and gold, or blue and black? Me and my friends can't agree and we are freaking the f--- out"
Naturally, Twitter launched into an argument about what color the dress actually is, and there's no clear winner at this point, but Wired explains the science behind the dissent.
"This fight is about more than just social media—it's about primal biology and the way human eyes and brains have evolved to see color in a sunlit world."
