Eagan, Minn. man sentenced for 'sneaky' photos of girls

An Eagan, Minn. man accused of taking photos of girls without their knowledge was sentenced Thursday morning to two consecutive 60-day terms in jail.

Last fall, Tyler Sauve was charged with more than two dozen counts for taking what he called "sneaky" photos of underage girls. Some of the pictures were taken from inside his parents' home, and he snapped others at a park down the street.

When the parents who live in the Country Hollow neighborhood found out he was taking pictures of their kids, they were understandably outraged.

Sauve, 20, has admitted to posting more than 2,100 photos of underage girls to a Russian website known for pornography. The photos themselves weren't illegal or pornographic, but there were sexual captions to go along with those pictures.

Sauve faced 27 criminal charges, but pled guilty in December to 3 misdemeanor charges of public nuisance and disorderly conduct. In exchange, prosecutors dropped dozens of other charges, including 5 more serious counts including defamation of character.
